A 90 degree bend is a pipe fitting that changes the direction of the pipe by 90 degrees, and its shape is usually a curved structure that is a quarter round.
It is widely used in many fields. In the building water supply and drainage system, it is used to connect the water pipes in the vertical and horizontal directions, in the HVAC system, the direction of the air duct or water pipe can be changed to make the air or water flow distributed according to the design requirements, and in the industrial pipeline system, it is used to connect the process pipes in different directions to ensure the smooth transportation of materials.

Crafting Process

Stamping Forming: The sheet metal is stamped through a stamping die to bend it into the shape of a 90-degree bend. This process is suitable for mass production of small-diameter, thin-walled elbows, and has high production efficiency.
Simmering and Bending Process: After heating the straight pipe section, use special simmering and bending equipment or bend it by hand. This process is suitable for large-diameter, thick-walled pipes, and can ensure the quality and dimensional accuracy of the elbows.
Casting Process: For some special materials or complex shapes of 90 degree elbows, casting methods can be used. The molten metal is poured into a mold and cooled to form the desired bend shape.
