Threaded coupling is used to connect two pipes with threaded connection.Forged steel pipe fittings can divided into SW (socket weld) fittings and THD (threaded) fittings.

Half Coupling: One end of a half thread coupling is threaded and the other end is welded. Straight: It is a kind of pipe coupling with the same diameter at both ends. Reducing: The two ends of the coupling have different sizes

Forged threaded pipe fittings are named by its manufacturing forging process and produced according to ASME B16.11, MSS-SP-79\83\95\97 and BS3799 standards. It is a connector in between nominal bore pipes. Their material can be made of carbon steel A105 and stainless steel SS316 & 304.

Forged threaded elbows are very common in chemical, oil refining, petrochemical and other industries, and are also used in some other industries.

ASME B16.11 is the standard of both socket-welding and threaded. Threaded fittings are available in pressure ratings Class 2000, 3000, and 6000;
Socket welding fittings are available in pressure ratings Class 3000, 6000, and 9000.

Steel pipe elbow can be divided into 3 types as buttweld, threaded, socket weld in accordance with connection.Threaded elbow is more convenient compare with the buttweld and socket weld elbow.
