Concept of BW elbow
Butt welding elbows are often used in the extension of pipes such as strip steel, profiles, wire rods, steel bars, rails, boiler steel pipes, oil and natural gas transportation; butt welding of automobile rims, bicycles, motorcycle rims, and various chain rings. The butt welding of the high-speed steel of the working part of the tool and the carbon steel at the tail, the butt welding of the head and the tail of the exhaust valve of the internal combustion engine, and the butt welding of the aluminum-copper conductive joint can save precious metals and improve product performance. Butt welding of steering shaft housing and rear axle housing; butt welding of various connecting rods and tie rods, and assembly welding of special parts, butt welding simple rolled, forged, stamped or machined parts into complex parts
(1) If classified according to the pressure level, there are about seventeen kinds, which are the same as the American pipe standards, including: Sch5s, Sch10s, Sch10, Sch20, Sch30, Sch40s, STD, Sch40, Sch60, Sch80s, XS; Sch80 , Sch100, Sch120, Sch140, Sch160, XXS, the most commonly used of which are STD and XS.
(2) According to the angle of the elbow, there are 45-degree butt-welding elbows, 90-degree butt-welding elbows, 180-degree butt-welding elbows and other elbows with different angles.
(3) The materials are: carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel.
