Buttweld Carbon Steel Pipe Fittings

In general, carbon steel pipe fittings and flanges are widely used for applications which do not require materials with higher resistance to corrosion such as stainless steel and alloy steel. Carbon Steel Fittings is primarily used across piping systems for its hardness, moderate to good tensile strength and inexpensiveness.

Butt weld fittings are manufacture by seamless or welded pipe. For pipe fittings manufacturers, the forming process of welded pipe and seamless pipe is basically same. Butt welded fittings can be divided into carbon steel butt welded fittings and stainless-steel butt-welded fittings
Butt Weld Fittings include elbows, tees, cross, caps and reduces. These fittings are the most common type of welded pipe fitting and are specified by nominal pipe size and pipe schedule. Buttweld fittings are manufacture by seamless or welded pipe and are formed to get the shape of elbows, tees and cross etc.

Buttweld steel pipe fittings have been widely applied in Piping System.

Buttweld Carbon Steel Pipe Elbow for Piping System

Elbow is a pipe fitting that changes the direction of piping. According to the Angle, there are 45° and 90°180° three most commonly used. Elbow material can be divided into carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless-steel.

According to the production method, it can be divided into pushing, pressing, forging, casting, etc.

According to its radius of curvature, there are long radius elbow and short radius elbow. Long radius elbow refers to its radius of curvature is equal to 1.5 times the outside diameter of the pipe, that is, R=1.5D; A short radius elbow means that its radius of curvature is equal to the outer diameter of the pipe, that is, R= 1.0d.(D is the diameter of the elbow, and R is the radius of curvature).
