Usage of  an equal tee?

Equal Tees are used to connect pipes if all openings are equal in diameter but branch connection will be any angle like 90, 45 degree or any others. And this is used if all branched pipe has the same diameter required except the same design and dimension will be followed to fabricate.

Difference between equal tee and reducing tee

An equal tee-piece is where two pipes of the same diameter intersect each other at 90 degrees. The joint line or mitre line on an equal tee-piece will go all the way to the centre line of the intersecting pipe. An unequal tee-piece is where one pipe intersecting another is smaller than the main pipe.
